Franz Schubert: Complete Works for Violin and Piano

“This recording epitomizes the realization of a project that was especially important to me”, says violinist Maria Kubizek about the album she recorded together with pianist Christoph Berner. During their joint exploration of Schubert’s works, which grew over several years, the two Austrian musicians were fascinated by the fact that these compositions for violin and piano, according to Christoph Berner, “make Schubert’s entire compositional development audible”.
