Christian Ofenbauer: für janna polyzoides, Klavierstück 2018

Austrian composer Christian Ofenbauer wrote two large-scale works for pianist Janna Polyzoides: “für janna polyzoides", which is performed here with Ensemble die reihe, and a half-hour solo piece that bears the succinct title “Klavierstück” (piano piece). Ofenbauer’s inspired musical language and Janna Polyzoides’s sensitive, yet powerful performance guarantee for a journey of musical discoveries that is equally challenging, rewarding and joyful for the listener.
